Key news in iKnowBase® version 5.5:
- New user interface for content management (iKnowBase® Content Studio) and metadata and user management (iKnowBase® Development Studio).
- Expanded WebService and PLSQL interface for content, metadata and user management and expanded JavaScript interface for client development.
- New infrastructure support makes it possible to run iKnowBase® without Oracle Portal, if desired. WebLogic Server is supported as a deployment platform.
- Improved support for installation and migration, with its own installation program for new installation and its own import / export component for migration of data.
