Modern organizations need to understand the opportunities and challenges related to adopting mechanisms of social media. How to find information about each other? How to form groups and collaborate on tasks and documents? How to discuss and comment on each other's work and create informal networks?
The purpose of the event was to discuss how modern solutions for interaction can provide increased value to employees and members. By collecting a handful of representatives from some of the major Norwegian member organizations, we put the focus on how to collaborate in the future. Ultimately this is about how we can build and create lasting relationships across the organization's members.
The conference was facilitated by Peter Hidas, Senior Consultant from Gartner. He gave an inspiring introduction and then led the discussion around the following topics:
- What requirements are valid for us as an organization?
- What requirements are valid for modern solutions?
- How should such solutions be deployed and used?
- What are the objections to this?
- How will we realize and measure the value?
The conference was organized by e-vita/iKnowBase as part of our focus on member organizations. We have received good feedback on this event, and we will consider repeating the success focusing on different subject matters and target audiences in the future. Stay tuned!
